For customers entering Republic of Ireland, there is no requirement for a separate Green Card for any trailers or caravans being towed.

However, customers who are entering some Green Card Free Circulation Area (GCFCA) countries there may be a requirement for a separate Green Card as proof of insurance for trailers or caravans. Green cards only give third party cover so there will be no cover for any damage to a caravan or trailer.

If you do require a separate Green Card for a trailer or caravan, please contact us on 0345 828 2822 and we will arrange for same, you will need to provide the following information:

  • Make and Model

Customers with renewals due in January 2021 will have received a second Green Card. This card can be used providing you renew your van policy with AXA and this policy remains active and any payments due are up to date.
