Here at AXA, we provide personal valuable insurance through our extended personal belongings cover, which is available as an optional extra on the contents insurance section of a household policy. If you choose to add this optional extra to your home insurance policy, you are providing protection to the personal belongings that you take outside of the home, such as jewellery or your watch. Although you do not have to avail of this optional extra, it is recommended as it helps to give you peace of mind that your valuable possessions are protected, even outside of your home.
What is personal belongings cover?
Personal belongings cover is one of AXA’s optional extras which you can choose to add to your contents section of your home insurance policy. Contents insurance is part of an AXA home insurance policy which helps to provide you with protection for your most valuable possessions if they are damaged or destroyed. We understand that each of our home insurance customers have very different needs, which is why we allow you tochoose the benefits of your policy to suit your home and your lifestyle. Choosing to extend your personal belongings protection ensures that the valuables which you usually take outside of your home, such as laptops, watches, or jewellery, are covered. What is covered under personal belongings cover?
With our extended personal belongings cover, this optional extra will cover your personal belongingsagainst damage or loss. In the event of an unforeseen incident where your valuables have been damaged, we will pay the amount as per policy terms and conditions, see your policy documents. If you have chosen to avail of our unspecified possessions cover, the limit for one item is £1,500.
